Regional Office Network |

|
In order to identify community needs and reach targeted groups
more effectively, SFD has established a network of regional
offices throughout the governorates of Egypt. These offices have
been delegated project approval authority and supervision
responsibility by SFD. The offices have a major input in the
type of projects that should be carried out in selected
governorates. |

Objectives : |
|
|
-
Determine basic
community needs through the governorates. |
|
|
|
-
Identify appropriate governmental and non-
governmental organizations to act as sponsoring agencies, and
enhance their technical and managerial capacities to effectively
achieve SFD objectives. |
|
|
|
-
Study regional community needs. |
|
|
|
- Study existing
enterprises and determine the feasibility of implementing
complementary projects. |
|
|
|
- Encourage people's
participation and individual initiative in the planning
and implementation of the projects. |
|
|
|
- Monitor and
follow-up project execution. |
|
|
|
-
Supervise and carry
out studies and field surveys to measure the impact of
SFD's projects on the beneficiaries within the geographic
location of the office. |
